I believe that before you entrust yourself into my hands, you have the right to know a little more about me.
I am a beauty therapist with medical background. After graduating as a medical nurse and working several years in a hospital, I have continued my education as a dental nurse. In the middle of a medical career I decided to combine medical skills with beauty therapist profession. Several years of studying beauty therapy lead me to graduation with NVQ2 and NVQ3 level qualifications. Simultaneously I was working in a beauty salon as a trainee beautician.
Since gaining official qualifications, I have moved to a busy, stylish and modern hair and beauty salon near Liverpool Street, London. I had a fantastic 3 year experience in that vibrant and busy place, sharpening my professional skills.
At the same time I had other opportunities to gain new training and qualifications such as 'Acne Treatment and Application of Glycolic Mask' certificate. I am pleased to have it as it helps me with my clientele nowadays.
In order to use my medical background, I took a course in 'Massage in End of Life Care Training', provided by Whipps Cross University Hospital.
I am a member of BABTAC (British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology).
In early 2011 I have opened my little private practice and now I welcome all my loyal and new clients to Beauty Room by Dana!
